What we collect and why
- Contact details and enquiries, to reply to you.
- Referral, consent and session information, to deliver programmes safely and to report to funders in anonymised form.
- Booking and payment details for paid services, to provide the service and meet our legal obligations.
Our lawful basis
- Consent: for news updates, and for sharing stories, photos or video.
- Contract: to provide paid coaching, mentoring and consultancy.
- Legitimate interests: to run our programmes, answer enquiries and improve our work.
- Legal obligation: to keep financial records and to act on safeguarding concerns.
Children and young people
For anyone under 18, we ask a parent or carer for consent before they join a programme, and we collect only what we need to keep them safe and support them. Young people’s stories or images are never shared without written consent from them and their parent or carer.
Sensitive information
Referrals and sessions can include sensitive details, such as health or ethnicity. We collect these only when needed to support someone safely or to understand who our programmes reach, we keep them secure, and we report them to funders only in anonymised form.
How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, and to meet legal, safeguarding and funder requirements. After that it is securely deleted.
Who processes data for us
Our website is hosted by Wix, and we store information securely in Microsoft 365. Where these providers process data outside the UK, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We share information only when we must (for example, to keep someone safe) and we never sell it.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set essential cookies needed for the site to work securely.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Contact info@aq-coaching.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
